BORRODELL ESTATE

OUR Vineyard

With an altitude of over 1030 metres above sea-level, Borrodell is one of Australia’s highest vineyards and produces exclusively cool climate wines. The fertile basalt soils from the extinct volcano Mt. Canobolas also plays an important role in our range. The alpine climate ensures four distinct seasons with true intensity – an extremely suitable area for growing cool climate varieties.

Distinguishing Between Vineyards and Wineries

Distinguishing Between

Vineyards & Wineries

Understanding the difference between a vineyard and a winery is important in the wine industry, as it distinguishes the process of grape cultivation from wine production. While a vineyard focuses on growing healthy grapevines, a winery transforms those grapes into the final product of wine.
